Reston, VA, May 17th, 2021 -  Pragmatics, Inc. announces that Dr.  Jim Fraley has joined the company as Senior Vice President and Chief Scientist.

Dr. Fraley is responsible for operational excellence, and leading the development of cutting-edge capabilities and service offerings for Pragmatics' clients. His mission is to leverage Pragmatics' excellent relationships, fuel innovation, and expand to new customers in new areas.

James Fraley is an accomplished senior leader with over 20 years of cybersecurity experience serving private and public sector organizations. He sits on several cyber working groups, addressing software supply chain management threats and cyber-crime.

Before joining Pragmatics, he was Senior Director for McAfee Enterprise Solutions, and worked with senior leadership of Fortune 2000 and Public Sector clients, to propose, implement, and operationalize advanced cyber security protections and security architectures.

At the Federal government's request, he has presented on technical issues such as Enterprise Security, Machine Learning for Malware Detection, and Big Data for cyber situational awareness and predictive cyber security defensive measures.

Dr. Fraley holds a Bachelor of Science from Metropolitan State University (Denver), a Master of Science from the University of Maryland, a Master of Business Administration (Data Science and Analytics) from the University of Delaware, and a Ph.D. from Nova Southeastern in Information Assurance/Computer Science. In addition, he holds several certifications, including Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), and AWS Cloud Certified Professional (CCP).
