Pragmatics CEO Dr. Long Nguyen Named Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2010 Award Winner in Greater Washington
McLean, VA, June 25, 2010 – Pragmatics, a leading provider of information technology (IT) services and solutions for federal government customers, today announced that founder and CEO Dr. Long Nguyen received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneur Of The Year® 2010 Award in the IT Services category in Greater Washington. According to Ernst & Young, LLP, the award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic, growing businesses. Dr. Nguyen is among eight winners announced Thursday, June 24, 2010 during a special gala held at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. The winners were selected by an independent panel of judges.
Dr. Nguyen established Pragmatics in 1985, and today the privately held company is a leading provider of IT services to federal government customers. Headquartered in McLean, Va., the company will relocate to Reston, Va. later this year.

As a Greater Washington regional winner, Dr. Nguyen is now eligible for consideration for the Ernst & Young LLP Entrepreneur Of The Year 2010 national program. Award winners in several national categories, as well as the overall national Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year award winner, will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, California on November 13, 2010. The awards are the culminating event of the Ernst & Young Strategic Growth Forum, the nation’s most prestigious gathering of high-growth, market-leading companies.
