Marybeth Wootton, Vice President
As vice president, foreign affairs and intelligence agencies, Marybeth Wootton leads Pragmatics in building relationships with the Department of State, U.S. Agency for International Development, and the intelligence community and identifies and bids new competitive task orders and large strategic procurements.
Wootton has extensive knowledge of the defense, intelligence, and federal civilian government markets and a deep understanding of the products and systems available to meet their mission-critical needs. She has led both commercial and federal sector organizations with national and international customer bases.
Prior to joining Pragmatics, Wootton was vice president, performance excellence at BAE Systems, Inc. In that role, she led the integration of business systems and had responsibility for CMMI, ISO, corporate metrics, and project management. She was previously an intelligence account executive for IBM, where she directed opportunity generation, business development, and had responsibility for program delivery.
Wootton has an MBA in finance, operations, and strategic management from the Wharton School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Harvard University. She is a member of the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association and the Project Management Institute.
